The American Red Cross is known for its assistance to victims of major disasters like hurricanes, earthquakes and tornadoes, yet many do not realize that local Red Cross volunteers provide much needed help to our neighbors in this community who have suffered from single-family house fires.

The American Red Cross assists those who have no resources of their own to begin their lives again. These families have no insurance, cash or other means to meet their emergency needs.

These services are available 24 hours a day, every day of the year. All Red Cross assistance to disaster victims is free. It is given through the generosity of the American people.
